Asymmetric Technologies grew out of the military combat and DoD support experience of its founder and Managing Director, Brian J. Borkowski. A United States Army officer for 15 years and a veteran of multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Brian led combat arms units before completing his career as the assistant technical director (Military) within the Army’s Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC).

While at ERDC Brian assisted scientists and program managers with the rapid acquisition and operationalization of multiple emerging technologies that were fielded to fighting forces in Afghanistan. As an end-user and as a developer, Brian saw opportunity to enhance the military’s rapid acquisition process…from this came Asymmetric Technologies: a company committed to guaranteeing the success of critical product innovations and your security assistance requirements
